On Slowing Down

There is this quote by John Steinbeck that I really like. It goes like this, “Don't worry about losing. If it is right, it happens - The main thing is not to hurry. Nothing good gets away.” I think this quote is a good reminder to myself that often in life I find myself rushing and hurrying to do something that will not necessary affect me in the best way. It’s good sometimes to just slow down and enjoy life. They’re right, money doesn’t buy happiness, but slowing down and relaxing, pursuing your hobbies, taking a walk, that what does bring happiness.
